GASBY ESSAY!!
The great Gatsby was a great book I really enjoyed reading it. There were lots of intense moments especially towards the end of the book. The great Gatsby gives lots of precise details then the other book might have ever thought of. In the book Gatsby is One of the main characters that is mentioned a lot. The main point of the book is that Gatsby is trying to get with the women of his dreams.
In the beginning of the book Gatsby meet A wonderful lady as so he thought. He completely falls in love with this girl by the name of Daisy and thinks she deserves the world. He is born with very little money but on the other hand Daisy is born into the rich life. In the book the man has to provide everything and to provide everything you need to have money which Gatsby didn’t have. So Gatsby goes out of his way to become the man of her dreams.
Gatsby is in New York and moved into a house across from Daisy but in between the house there is a big lake and one night Gatsby is car looking in daisies house directions staring at a green light across the lake. At this point Gatsby returns from the war because he went to go serve for his country and when he came back no one know if he was rich or he was poor because he had his uniform on and so Daisy thought he found a way to get money. as he was gone Daisy fell in love with another guy.
When Gatsby finds out that Daisy found love with another guy while he was trying to make a living to make Daisy his wife he was so angry. He got to talk to her for a while and talk things out to see if they are still in love with each other. When they talk it out Gatsby and Daisy come to the conclusion that they still love each other very dearly so they go confront The guy that Daisy is with and it turns out that Daisy also loves the guy that she’s with at the moment so she doesn’t know what to do. Gatsby goes home and goes to relax in his pool when a guy comes up and shoots Gatsby while he’s floating.
After reading Gatsby my thoughts were that work for what you want and work as hard as you can for what you want but if life doesn’t want you to have it then it won’t happen.Life besides your next move just like Gatsby was trying so hard to get with Daisy and marry her but while he was gone she took it manage of that time and went to go sleep with another man. This part of the story just shows that life isn’t always going to go your way no matter how hard you try because Gatsby ended up dying in the pool.
